After spending many years working out at traditional gyms, Matt was introduced to CrossFit in 2009 by a friend who was doing this "crazy workout." He stepped into CrossFit Scottsdale to hit his first CrossFit workout, named Fight Gone Bad. He left the traditional gyms behind and is ecstatic to be a part of CFBOTB. Matt’s goal as a coach and trainer is to motivate people to strive to become the best versions of themselves. As an athlete, Matt has competed at the CrossFit Games Regional level as an individual and on a team.
